The Nuke course introduces learners to one of the most powerful and widely used node-based digital compositing applications in television and film post-production. Developed by Digital Domain, Nuke runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux, and combines the power of C++ and Python to deliver a versatile, customizable, and high-performance compositing environment.

This course covers Nuke's core features, including its node-based workflow, non-destructive editing, and advanced rotoscoping with Roto Nodes. Learners will explore how to create custom nodes, manage scripts, and customize the workspace and interface to streamline production workflows.

Participants will gain hands-on experience with Nuke's seamless integration with industry-standard software such as Maya, Mari, and Houdini, enabling efficient handling of diverse file formats, including JPEG and TIFF. The course also introduces Python scripting in Nuke, empowering users to create custom widgets and commands and automate tasks.

In addition, learners will explore Nuke's advanced tools, including the built-in camera tracker, 32-bit point linear color channels, relighting, and animation options using keyframes or tracking data. By the end of the course, participants will be able to perform professional-level VFX editing and compositing, enhance their workflow efficiency, and leverage Nuke's unique features to produce high-quality visual effects for television, film, and digital media.
