Description
The XML Fundamentals course provides a comprehensive introduction to Extensible Markup Language (XML), a widely used markup language for describing, storing, and transporting data across web applications and distributed systems. XML, created by the W3C in 1996, is based on SGML and uses standards that make documents readable by both people and computers.
In this course, learners will explore the core components and features of XML, including documents, declarations, tags, elements, attributes, namespaces, schemas, parsers, and processors. You will understand XML syntax rules, such as declarations, root elements, element nesting, and attribute usage, and learn how to apply both basic and advanced XML features in real-world scenarios.
This course teaches you how to organize data, share it between systems, and build web applications more easily. By the end of the course, you will have the skills to create, validate, and interpret XML documents effectively and leverage XML tools in diverse technical environments.
